Matthew Murtland, Esq. Joins Padgett as AVP of Foreclosure

Padgett Law Group (Padgett) is pleased to announce that attorney Matthew Murtland, Esq. has joined the firm as an Assistant Vice President of Foreclosure, a firm-wide senior leadership role. Murtland will co-lead the firm's 13-state foreclosure practice with Michael J. Burns, Esq.

Murtland will work in tandem with Burns and other senior leaders across the firm to grow the firm's foreclosure practice, deepen its jurisdictional reach and professional roster of attorneys and support staff, and implement technological, case management, and other process enhancements to drive efficiencies and pipeline performance across clients' portfolios with Padgett. Murtland will also work to expand the firm's reach within its 13-state foreclosure footprint with targeted talent development and state-specific growth plans.

"Multi-jurisdictional leaders are a core component of our strategic growth plan, and Matt brings not only that type of experience to Padgett, but with him comes a wealth of knowledge on the operational side of the business that helps our clients, enhances our processes, and develops our teams. We are excited to welcome Matt to Padgett and support his vision for growth and refinement in our foreclosure practice," said Vice President of Enterprise, Evan Singer, Esq.

Prior to joining Padgett, Murtland held multi-jurisdictional foreclosure leadership positions at LOGS Legal Group and Gray Ice Higdon PLLC, where he strategically expanded the scope of his legal practice. In his new capacity at Padgett, Murtland will co-lead a 13-state footprint foreclosure practice, including judicial and non-judicial states, localized operational teams, and collaborate with the firm's company-wide enterprise teams, including Compliance, Marketing & Client Development, Quality Control, Client Systems, and IT and CaseAware teams.

"I am thrilled to join the team at Padgett. The firm's reputation for top-notch client service, innovative industry leadership, and a people-first culture, shaped around both clients and employees, made the opportunity one I could not resist. I am excited to join such an exceptional group of people so laser-focused on building an industry-leading law firm," said Murtland.

Murtland will report directly to executive leadership, attorney Keena Stallworth, Esq., Vice President of Legal of Operations.
