Our Ohio Practice

Padgett's Ohio practice operates out of the firm's fully-staffed Dayton, OH location. PLG entered the Ohio market in 2019 when the long-established local, family-owned default law firm, Laurito & Laurito, transitioned into PLG. The PLG Ohio practice is staffed by local attorneys and experienced staff members carried over from Laurito & Laurito, plus new hires to support the firm's significant growth in the state. PLG offers comprehensive default services throughout Ohio, including foreclosure, evictions, title, title curative, litigation, bankruptcy, and REO services.

Padgett’s Ohio practitioners offer a robust blend of litigation acumen, real estate transactional insight, and comprehensive mortgage servicing compliance knowledge—all grounded in a deep understanding of Ohio’s judicial foreclosure framework. Ohio’s foreclosure process requires careful navigation of county-level procedures, court rules, and statutory requirements, and our attorneys are well-versed in managing these complexities from complaint to confirmation of sale.

With extensive courtroom experience across Ohio’s diverse jurisdictions and longstanding professional relationships within the state’s legal and judicial foreclosure systems, Padgett is uniquely positioned to deliver efficient, strategic, and assertive representation. Whether managing high-volume portfolios or addressing contested foreclosure matters, our team is equipped to protect your interests at every stage of the process, statewide.
