FedEx National Service Disruption May Affect Court Deadlines

FedEx National Service Disruption May Affect Court Deadlines

We encourage all clients to prepare for potential delays affecting court filings scheduled for the week beginning Sunday, January 25, 2026. Federal Express (“FedEx”) has advised customers that extreme cold weather may cause significant service disruptions nationwide.

FedEx has activated contingency plans “to mitigate impacts of winter storms across the United States, including at its Memphis and Indianapolis hubs.” Despite these efforts, delays remain likely. To avoid any adverse impact on pending matters or court deadlines, clients should coordinate closely with their PLG team to ensure timely filing and delivery of all critical documents.

Please reach out to your primary PLG contact with any questions or concerns.
